[UPDATE] Escaped Caddo Inmate Kenterrica Booker Located

[UPDATE, Feb. 26, 2015]  Booker was located this morning hiding in an abandoned shed in the 1600 block of Milam Street. She faces an additional charge of simple escape.

[ORIGINAL STORY]  An inmate under guard by a private security company walked away from University Health while receiving treatment.

Kenterrica Dechante, 21, was reported missing at 8:38 a.m. She escaped from a guard after asking to use the restroom.

Dechante is pregnant and had been at the hospital since Friday. She was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on Feb. 16 for unathorized use of a moveable and state probation violation. Her bond was $1,000. She now faces escape charges.

Dechante is pictured in the attached jail booking photo, but deputies say she has since cut her hair.

Dechante may be headed to Rayville where she has family. Anyone with information about her location is asked to call the Caddo Sheriff's Office at 675-2170.
