Caddo Heights Stabbing Leaves One Man Seriously Wounded, Another Man in Jail

A man has been arrested in connection with last night's stabbing in Caddo Heights. Shreveport police say 27-year-old Dennis Fester and 25-year-old Frederic Reutlinger were apparently involved in some sort of dispute that led to a physical fight. That's when Reutlinger allegedly pulled a knife, cut Fester and took off.

Fester suffered a serious cut to the stomach, and was taken to LSU Health. Police say his wound is potentially life-threatening.

Reutlinger surrendered to police, and was booked into the Shreveport City Jail for attempted second-degree murder.
