Caddo Deputies Bust Burglary Ring
Deputies say they think they've busted a south Caddo burglary ring.
It began to unravel on October 3rd when Corporal Richard Porter attempted to stop a speeding GMC pickup truck on Highway 171. The driver fled but eventually flipped the stolen truck on Williams Road. The driver, 18-year-old Colton Pair, was arrested for DWI, aggravated flight, theft of a motor vehicle, and possessing a stolen firearm. His 17-year-old passenger, Ahmed Mir, was arrested for possessing a stolen firearm. A bag of stolen items was found in the truck.
About 12 hours later, detectives arrested 17-year-old Dalton Singletary and a 15-year-old juvenile at a makeshift camp on Crest Drive. The juvenile was found sleeping in a tent with a stolen, loaded handgun under his air mattress.
Pair faces nine counts of simple burglary -- Singletary, Mir, and the juvenile face six counts each.
