Caddo Commissioner Says Monument Vote ‘Symbolic’ [VIDEO]

Caddo Commissioner Mike Middleton says that the Commission's vote later today on whether to remove the Confederate monument from the grounds of the parish courthouse is "symbolic."

Middleton tells KEEL listeners that he thinks the vote will be to remove, despite statements by other commissioners that the decision is still up in the air. Middleton also says the vote - if in favor - will open a Pandora's box of lawsuits that may take up to two years to settle, as the actual owner of the monument property will have to be decided in the courts.
