Buying Skittles with Fake Money Lands a Local Teen in Jail
A Bossier City teen is in hot water...after buying his Skittles with fake bills. Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says 19-year-old Coutrell Johnson admitted to investigators that he had two counterfeit $20 bills. On two separate occasions, he attempted to pass the forged money at Bossier High School to purchase candy and snacks. He was successful the first time around -- but the second time, he and a juvenile accomplice were caught. Johnson was taken to Bossier Max for possessing and passing forged U.S. currency. The accomplice was charged with forgery and released to his parents.
