A Shreveport federal court jury has convicted 43-year-old Kenneth Gordon, Junior, of Bossier City for conspiring to commit wire fraud.  He's also been convicted of wire fraud in connection with an insurance claim based on the fraudulent theft of his John Deere equipment.  He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $250-thousand for the wire fraud conviction plus up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $250-thousand on the conspiracy conviction.  His co-defendant, Don E. Newton, previously pled guilty to conspiring with Gordon to commit wire fraud.  Both men are scheduled for sentencing in February.
