Opening arguments in the trial of Brian Horn of Keatchie, Louisiana for the murder of 12-year old Justin Bloxom are expected to begin this week.

Judge Robert Burgess of DeSoto Parish told 710 KEEL that he expects the jury to be selected by tomorrow morning in Baton Rouge. The jury will then be transported to Desoto Parish. opening arguments are set to proceed Thursday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m. in Mansfield. Horn's murder trial was previously expected to begin last summer.

It was four years ago this month that Bloxom's body was found in a wooded area off Highway 171.

Judge Burgess will be on with Robert and Erin Wednesday morning (March 26) at 6:20 a.m. to discuss the long-delayed trial.
