Bossier Parish Community College’s Theatre Program has received seven awards for distinguished achievement at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Washington, D.C.this past weekend (April 16) at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

The awards, which were presented at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, lauded the school’s production of Henry James' "The Turn of the Screw".

Those awarded include director Ray Scott Crawford, scenic designer David White, lighting designer Keith Bruce, and acting performances by Madeline Hiers and Jesse Kortus. White and Crawford were also recognized for sound design.
