BPCC Gets Engineering Green Light

The board of regents has approved a plan by bossier parish community college to begin offering an associate degree in engineering.That means that students will now be able to start their academic career in engineering at bpcc and then transfer to louisiana tech in ruston to finish their course work and get their bachelor's degree. The two schools signed a memorandum of understanding back in november establishing the relationship. Engineering classes are scheduled to begin at bpcc in the fall.
