A lower student population and fewer TOPS dollars from the state are just two of the problems facing Dr. Rick Bateman, Chancellor at Bossier Parish Community College. The highly acclaimed two year school is set to begin the outsourcing of their custodial services and has laid off ten employees, but some financial challenges remain, including a $1.9 million shortfall.
