Bossier Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust
A traffic stop in Bossier City has landed two Texas men behind bars on drug charges.
It started when an officer pulled the car over for speeding on eastbound I-20 near I-220. The officer asked for and received consent to search the car and, with help from a police K-9, found about a quarter pound of high-grade marijuana called "Kush" on the streets. They also seized about 7 grams of methamphetamine.
20-year-old Shawn Moskwa of San Antonio and 20-year-old Dorian Givens of San Marcos have been booked into Bossier Max for possessing marijuana and methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Moskwa was also issued a citation for speeding and police have impounded his car.
