[UPDATE] Police are still on the hunt for a young man who led multiple agencies on a chase from Bossier City into Shreveport.

A Ford F-230 was stolen from La Quinta Inn on Financial Plaza in Shreveport. The owner used a GPS locator, which showed the vehicle was in Bossier City at the foot of the Texas Street Bridge.

Bossier City police found the truck and attempted to stop it, but the driver led police on a chase down I-20 W, which ended at Pines Road and 5 Oaks.

Police attempted to track the suspect with a K9 unit, but he couldn't be located. Shreveport police were not involved in the chase, but they did respond to the Pines Road location to assist Bossier in the suspect search.

The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, between 17 and 21 years old.

Shreveport police are investigating the case, since the truck was stolen in their jurisdiction. Call them or Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers if you have any information that can help locate the suspect.
