The Bossier Sheriff's Office is looking for the man caught on video using a stolen debit/credit card at a local Wal-Mart after he burglarized at least two vehicles in the Lakewood Subdivision.

Detectives say the suspect used the stolen card to make two separate purchases at the Airline Drive Wal-Mart. Video surveillance footage shows the same man using the card at the nearby Murphy USA gas station.

Authorities are looking for a white male in his 20's or 30's, driving a mid-2000 model white Toyota Tundra extended cab with chrome Nerf bars, possibly with Texas plates.

The man, and possibly other suspects, have been burglarizing vehicles in the Lakewood and Bayou Bend subdivisions, stealing items from unlocked vehicles. There have been no reports of vehicles broken into with forced entry.

Detectives remind residents that these types of burglaries are often crimes of opportunity and can be avoided if residents would keep their vehicle doors locked and remove valuables from plain sight.

If you can help identify the suspect in the surveillance photos, call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 424-4100, or submit a tip on the Crime Stoppers website.
