2016 was a busy year for law enforcement across the country, and the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office was no exception. The BPSO has released their annual report for 2015-2016 that details the past year’s accomplishments.

The 10-page annual report covers July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016, and features information, photos and statistics about Bossier Parish's Criminal, Corrections and Training divisions. Some of the items in the report include the Flood of 2016, Baton Rouge deployment of deputies to help with rioting and flooding, and various community events, including the Peace Officers Memorial and the “We’ve Got Your Back” rally.

The report features sections on the annual budget, personnel statistics, D.A.R.E, Bossier Sheriff’s Young Marines, Reserve deputies and the Sheriff’s Posse and Ladies Auxiliary, as well as the new Family Justice Center to help domestic violence victims, and drive-through tax service in Benton.

“Every year we compile this report and look back over the past year’s accomplishments, I am so impressed with the incredible team of deputies and staff personnel here at the Bossier Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Whittington. “They epitomize our commitment to CPR – Courteous, Professional and Responsive – as we serve each and every day to keep residents safe.
