Christmas came a little early for some boys and girls Tuesday morning when deputies, Posse members and Santa delivered toys as part of this year's Operation Santa Claus.The special Christmas delivery was made to 167 children across Bossier Parish, providing presents to children who might not otherwise have Christmas gifts.

The Bossier Sheriff’s Office teams with the Shreveport Police and Fire Departments and Townsquare Media for Operation Santa Claus, which provides about 1,000 Christmas presents to disadvantaged children in Bossier and Caddo Parishes.  Organizations, schools, individuals and businesses are also partner with the program by donating toys and monies to ensure no child goes without a present at Christmastime.
