Bossier Sheriff’s Deputies Net Several Weekend Arrests
It was a busy weekend for Bossier sheriff's deputies. Three people were arrested for various crimes from Saturday night through yesterday morning. They say 24-year-old Sergio Ramos of Haughton was following a vehicle too closely on Highway 80 near his residence when a deputy pulled him over. He was determined to be in the United States illegally, and was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
A deputy reports 32-year-old Anna Harris of Bossier City ran a red light at the intersection of Sligo Road and Highway 71. She was ultimately arrested for first-offense DWI, after she was found to have a .134 blood alcohol level.
And 30-year-old Alverson Taylor, II, of Haughton ran a red light at the intersection of Highway 80 and Bodcau Station Road. He was found to have an expired driver's license and multiple active warrants for his arrest. All three were booked into Bossier Max.
