We have all been dealing with record rainfall, and deadly flooding all week. With more rain in the forecast over the weekend, officials are continuing to help everyone they can, while keeping an eye on what to plan for.

One of the hardest hit areas this week is the community of Haughton.

The Bossier Sheriff's Department shared this video this week of some of their rescue efforts. Having to use boats to reach some residents, including children, at their homes.

If you have an opportunity this week, thank the local rescue officials. These fine folks have been out, all across our area, all hours of the day, to keep us safe, and in some cases, save us from emergency situations.
