Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington recognized four employees for their outstanding service to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office during the annual Christmas Awards and Appreciation Social at the Viking Drive Substation Thursday night.

Sheriff Whittington also recognized employees for their years of service, ranging from five to 30 years.  The longest serving employee, Deputy Roy Rawls, works in Internal Affairs and has nearly 34 years of service.  The second longest serving employee is Lisa Harrington, who works in Bonds and has 30 years of service.

“I am thankful for the dedicated team of employees we have here at the Bossier Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Whittington.  “Our extended family of current and retired deputies and staff members exemplifies Courteous, Professional and Responsive service to the residents of Bossier Parish.  Merry Christmas!”
