If you didn't get a chance to sign the big "In God We Trust" banner at the Fourth of July rally in Bossier City, you've got another opportunity.  Well, actually, you've got three.

Sherriff Julian Whittington has placed banners at all three substations for people to sign and show their support for restoring federal funding to the Bossier Sheriff's Young Marines program.

The banners are available for signing between 8 am and 4:30 pm at all three substations.  There's one in Benton at 7076 Highway 3; another at 2510 Viking Drive in Bossier City; and a third in south Bossier at 3135 Arthur Ray Teague Parkway.

The Banner reads:  "President Obama:  Please tell the Department of Justice we support restoring funding to the Bossier Sheriff's Young Marines program."

In the photo, you can see Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Louisiana Representative Jeff Thompson, Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington and U.S. Congressman John Fleming signing the “In God We Trust” banner during the 4th of July event. U.S. Senators Mary Landrieu and David Vitter, along with U.S. Congressman Bill Cassidy and other Louisiana lawmakers have vowed their support as well.
