The Bossier Parish School System has named its Students of the Year and each winner has been personally notified and congratulated by Superintendent D.C. Machen. The Elementary Student of the Year is Shannon Mathers.  She attends W.T. Lewis.  Cope Middle School's Leah Huber is the Middle School Student of the Year.  And Taylor Veillon, an Airline student, is the High School Student of the Year.  Each winner will receive an iPad4, courtesy of Citizens National Bank.  In addition, all three will advance to regional competition against 12 other school districts on March 5th.  Bossier Parish Schools will host that competition.  Regional winners will then move on to state-level competition.
