Bossier Schools Honored for Financial Reporting

A big honor for Bossier Parish schools. For the twentieth year in a row, the school system’s comprehensive annual financial report for the just-ended fiscal year qualified for a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. That’s the highest form of recognition given by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. Comprehensive annual financial reports are judged by an impartial panel to ensure they meet the high standards of the program.
