Bossier police have made an arrest in connection with a recent bank robbery. 33-year old Curtis Parker of Bossier City was arrested on a charge of armed robbery with a firearm for the June 19th hold up of the Chase Bank branch on Airline Drive at Shed Road. Detectives arrested Parker after linking him to the robbery thanks to a tip made to Bossier Crime Stoppers. Parker was subsequently booked into the Bossier City Jail.

The robbery happened at approximately 4:25 pm that day after the suspect entered the bank and produced what appeared to be a handgun while demanding money from a teller. The teller complied and the suspect immediately left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses say the suspect then fled the scene on foot.
