Bossier Parish Voters Say Yes to Money for Schools
Bossier Parish voters Saturday approved new schools to address parish growth, but did not give the go ahead for employee pay raises or new technology.
With complete, but unofficial returns, the 13.55 mill proposition passed with 51.8 percent of the vote.
The bond will pay for a new elementary and a high school in the Benton area, a new middle school in the Haughton area and a new Bossier technical school.
It also provides upgrades at several other existing campuses, including upgrades and an expansion at Airline High School and needed improvements at Bossier High School.
