The Bossier Sheriff's Office is searching for a Bossier Parish man with mental health issues who has been missing for three days.

The mother of 25-year-old Boshmone "Bosh" Cord Higgins told deputies her son left her house in south Bossier on February 3 and started walking down Caplis Sligo Road. He's been living with her since mid-December.

Higgins is prescribed medication for his mental issues, but he hasn't been taking it. He may be heading to Denton, Texas, where he used to live. But he doesn't have a cell phone on him and left only lightly-clothed and with little money.

The sheriff's office is coordinating with the Denton Police Department, but detectives believe Higgins could still be in northwest Louisiana. If you know where he might be, call the Bossier Sheriff's Office at (318) 965-2203.
