Bossier Hosts Louisiana Sheriff’s Association

Sheriffs from around the state are meeting in Bossier City this week.  The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Julian Whittington are hosting the Louisiana Sheriffs' Association Midwinter Conference.

Louisiana sheriffs meet twice a year to discuss various issues and share ideas. Among the items on this week's agenda: court security, violence in schools, emergency preparedness, and criminal sex operations. The Louisiana Sheriffs' Association dates back to 1938.
