The Bossier City Council has passed a measure cracking-down on panhandlers.

The Council voted 6-1 in favor of an ordinance outlining what pedestrians can do near city streets.

Councilman Thomas Harvey introduced the ordinance in hopes of helping ease traffic congestion in Bossier.

Many business owners are pleased with the change saying this will make it safer for customers to get to their businesses.
