Bossier City Shoplifter Also Faces Drug Charges
What started out as a shoplifting call turned into a drug bust.
Bossier City Police were called to the Dillard's store at Pierre Bossier Mall after store security reported seeing a man conceal several articles of men's clothing in a shopping bag and leave the store. Police located 46-year-old Adam Standley of Dallas in the parking lot but he took off running. After a brief chase, he was caught.
Police recovered the stolen clothing but that's not all. They also found a large amount of narcotics in his vehicle -- cocaine, marijuana, crack, Hydrocodone, meth, and heroin as well as drug paraphernalia. Standley was booked into the Bossier City Jail on a long list of charges and then transferred to Bossier Max.
