[UPDATE] Bossier City Police Investigate Shooting

Update:  A late-morning shooting in Bossier City has left one person dead.  Police were called to the Lexington Place Apartments on Northgate Drive about 11:45 a.m.

Spokesman Mark Natale says that when officers arrived, they found a female employee of the complex in the office. She had been shot multiple times.

Fire department medics rushed her to LSU Health, but she was pronounced dead. Natale says two other employees who were in the office at the time ran out and escaped harm. Natale says police are talking with someone they describe as a person of interest but charges have not yet been filed.
