A robber is on the run after holding up a Bossier City bank around mid-morning.

Witnesses have told police the man walked into the Capital One branch at Airline Drive and Shed Road just before 10 o'clock with his face covered and carrying a handgun.  He approached the counter and robbed a customer and then the teller before leaving on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Police and a K-9 immediately searched the area where the robber was last seen but came up empty-handed.

Witnesses have described the robber as a tall black male standing almost 6-feet tall.  He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, and black tennis shoes and had a black hood over his head.  They say he was also carrying a black and gray or black and white backpack.

Bossier Crime Stoppers is offering a $510 reward for information that can help them track down and arrest this man.  If you have information that might help, you're asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 424-4100 or submit a tip online at bossiercrimestoppers.org.
