Bossier City Police Hunt for Bank Robber
A robber is on the run after holding up a Bossier City bank around mid-morning.
Witnesses have told police the man walked into the Capital One branch at Airline Drive and Shed Road just before 10 o'clock with his face covered and carrying a handgun. He approached the counter and robbed a customer and then the teller before leaving on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police and a K-9 immediately searched the area where the robber was last seen but came up empty-handed.
Witnesses have described the robber as a tall black male standing almost 6-feet tall. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, and black tennis shoes and had a black hood over his head. They say he was also carrying a black and gray or black and white backpack.
