A Bossier City man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter after another man with whom he'd fought last week died of his injuries.

Bossier police say 32-year-old Travis Williams and 58-year-old Mark Adams lived across the street from each other in the 1100 block of Dudley Lane and got into a fight in the street in front of their homes last Tuesday evening.  During the fight, detectives say Williams punched Adams in the face, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the pavement.  He was rushed to University Health for treatment of a severe head injury and died two days later.

Detectives then obtained a warrant for Williams' arrest and he was taken into custody this morning.  He was booked into the Bossier City Jail with his bond set at $50,000.
