Congrats to Bossier City...it was recently honored by the Louisiana Municipal Association for its outstanding work in expanding and upgrading the city's water treatment plant. The city was presented with LMA's Community Achievement Award, taking home the top prize in the Basic Services category for municipalities with a population of 25,001 and over. This is the seventh time Bossier has received the LMA's top honor.

Our efforts to expand the city water treatment plant's capacity and improve the quality of water will be a benefit to our residents for years to come and is well-deserving of this special recognition."

The upgrades doubled the capacity of the city's water distribution to residents and businesses. Total cost of the project was $80.5-million dollars.
