Bossier City Girl Honored for Preventing House Fire

The Bossier City Fire Department has honored a 7-year-old girl for helping prevent her neighbor's house from catching fire.  

Back on June 19th, Anna Grace Plummer spotted a trash can on fire inside the neighbor's home on Bayou Drive.  She told her mother who immediately called the neighbor.  The neighbor, in turn, was able to extinguish the fire with a garden house before it could spread to the house, itself.

For her quick action, Anna Grace has been given the Bossier City Fire Department's Appreciation Award.  Fire Prevention Chief Jerry Nuckolls made the presentation.
