Bossier City Firefighters to Shake Their Boots for Muscular Dystrophy

If you're going to be out and about this holiday weekend, you may encounter firefighters at busy intersections shaking their boots to benefit muscular dystrophy research.In Bossier City, they'll be out and the intersection of Barksdale Boulevard and Westgate Lane and at East Texas Street and Airline Drive.  They'll be out at various times of the day, all the way through Monday, asking motorists to donate money to MDA.

Money raised will go toward funding research, sending children to MDA summer camp, and purchasing wheel chairs and walkers and other equipment for victims of neuromuscular disease.
