A nine-year veteran of the Bossier City Police Department has been honored by a state banking association.  The Louisiana Bankers Association has given Detective Tifani Brinkman its Law Enforcement Officer Distinguished Service Award.  She was honored for her diligent and successful work investigating white collar crimes, particularly bank fraud and forgery cases, many of which resulted in arrests.  After serving three years as an invstigator with the White Collar Crimes Unit, Detective Brinkman is now with the department's Violent Crimes Unit.
