A Bossier City couple is charged with having components of a meth lab in their home, various other drug and weapons charges, and counterfeiting.

Bossier sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 5800 block of Hollyhock Lane in the Golden Meadows subdivision to a report of a non-violent domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they saw what they believed to be possible components of a meth lab in the home.

The Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force was called out to investigate, and the Financial Crimes Task Force had to come out, too, after deputies noticed counterfeit money and equipment used to make U.S. currency.

Agents searched the home and found meth, marijuana and Clonazepam pills. They also located a can of acetone, blister packs of cold medication, starter fluid and match striker plates -- items used in whole or part as components to create a clandestine meth lab. In addition, they found smoking pipes, syringes, a marijuana grinder and digital scales.

Deputies arrested 28-year-old Amber Reynolds and her live-in boyfriend, 27-year-old Christopher King. The two are charged with creating a clandestine lab, possession marijuana, meth, drug paraphernalia, possessing a controlled dangerous substance with a firearm and monetary instrument abuse.

King was also charged with possession Clonazepam and on a fugitive warrant out of Arkansas for forgery.
