Body Found in Caddo Parish Creek Identified as West Monroe Man

The Caddo Coroner's Office has used dental records to identify a body found this past Sunday by a fisherman in a creek near 12-Mile Bayou.  

23-year-old Christopher Grant had been reported missing to the West Monroe Police Department over three weeks ago.  His family says he had been traveling back and forth between West Monroe and Carthage, Texas, for work.  With help from the Civil Air Patrol, Caddo deputies have recovered Grant's Chevy Tahoe in a wooded area near the creek where his body was found.  But detectives say there were no signs of foul play around the SUV.  Deputies are asking anyone who might have seen Grant, spoken with him, or had any interaction with him during the past few weeks to contact Caddo Detective Terry Richardson at 318-675-2170.
