‘Blue Forever’ Creator Kellie Abbott Donates Belt Trauma Kits to Caddo Sheriff’s Office
The Caddo Sheriff's Office has received 15 Belt Trauma Kits, thanks to the efforts of Kellie Abbott and her non-profit organization Blue Forever.
Each kit contains gloves, a CPR Shield, SWAT-T pressure tourniquet and QuikClot Combat Gauze. These items are used to effectively stop bleeding and have saved many lives on the battlefield.
Kellie, who's now in college, began her non-profit when she was still in high school and has donated more than 300 kits to nine area law enforcement agencies. Her father Wayne is a Caddo deputy. Kellie has raised more than $23,000 to purchase the Belt Trama Kits.
