Blanchard Couple Arrested for Theft

A man and woman from Blanchard have been arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the estate of the woman's deceased father.  

56-year-old Charles Brumley and his 52-year-old wife Teresa have been booked on felony theft charges.  Detective Bobby Herring says the Brumleys are accused of misappropriating over $60,000 while the father was still alive and another $100,000 after his death.  Teresa Brumley is also accused of stealing $12,000 from her mother, who's been confined to a nursing facility since 2009.

Teresa Brumley was arrested at the couple's home in the 7000 block of Millwood Drive. Charles Brumley turned himself in at the Caddo Sheriff's Office a few hours later.  Both were booked into Caddo Correctional Center with their bond set at $10,000 each.
