Blanchard Couple Arrested for Distributing Marijuana

The Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit has arrested a Blanchard couple for distributing marijuana.

According to a news release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, narcotics agents, with the help of the K-9 Unit, conducted a search in the 6900 block of N. Colony Drive, and found more than $12,000 in cash and 164 grams of high-grade marijuana.

Agents also searched a vehicle belonging to 23-year-old Joseph Green and found an additional 1,329 grams of high-grade pot. Total street value of the narcotics was $37,325.

Green and 24-year-old Kalynn Debusk were each arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Green was also charged with second-offense marijuana possession and possessing hash.
