Bill Cassidy Sworn in as U.S. Senator [VIDEO]

US Sen. Bill Cassidy was officially sworn in on Capitol Hill.

He and 12 other new senators took their oaths Tuesday morning. 

Part of his responsibility will be serving on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Cassidy defeated Mary Landrieu in the runoff in November.

Power in the Senate will also shift to a new GOP majority Tuesday.
