Big Storms Roar Through Northwest Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex

Rough night in northwest Louisiana as the cold front moves through and brings with it a line of thunderstorms that leaves thousands without power and wind damage throughout the region. Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Shreveport say a tree fell on a mobile home in Bossier Parish and another on a car in Shreveport. There are no reports of injuries. SWEPCO says many of its customers are in the dark in Caddo Parish, Bossier Parish, Sabine Parish and Natchitoches Parish. One apartment at Woodlawn Terrace in Cedar Grove was damaged when a tree fell on it. A home in Vivian was also damaged. No one was injured.
