Big Storm Knocks Out Power, Topples Trees Across Shreveport-Bossier [Photo + Video]

High winds knocked down trees in some areas of Shreveport-Bossier Wednesday night and caused power outages for many.

A severe thunderstorm warning came down Wednesday afternoon for several Louisiana parishes, including Caddo and Bossier.

KEEL morning show co-host Erin McCarty captured footage of a tree that was toppled near her home by the high winds. Many other residents and businesses experienced power outages as a result of Wednesday's storm.
