More details are being unveiled about the plan for the proposed Margaritaville Resort and Casino in Bossier City.

Bossier City Council

Bossier Casino Ventures'  William Trotter has told members of the Bossier City Council that the complex will have an 18-story hotel with 400 rooms and end-cap suites.  There will also be a two-story entertainment venue with seating for 1,000 and the Margaritaville Restaurant with seating for 400. Trotter says the whole there of the project is to make sure visitors feel as though they have escaped to the islands.  If voters approve the project on November 19th, construction is expected to start on January 1st.  The goal is to have the $195-million dollar complex open by May of 2013.
