It may be summer vacation but that isn't stopping a group of Benton Elementary School students from honing their archery skills.

That's because they'll be going to Madison, Wisconsin, next month to compete in the National Archery in the Schools Program's World Championship.

The Benton Elementary team finished eighth in the National Championship last month in Louisville, Kentucky.  Since that put them in the top 10, it qualified them for the World Championship.

To help raise money for the trip, the team will be hosting a fish fry from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, in the Airline High School parking lot.  The food is being catered by Cypress Inn and plates will sell for $10 each or a generous donation.
