Beloved Local Teacher Retires In True Louisiana Style! (Video)

After 45 years of teaching Robert Trudeau is leaving Caddo Magnet High School! Robert told The Shreveport Times "I have enjoyed and felt supported every day of my long career, especially at Magnet," he said. "As people of a certain age know, there is a moment in your thinking when you realize that retirement is really changing gears and that it really is time to change."

Students describe Mr. Trudeau as being extremely passionate about teaching and always finding a way to connect with the students no matter the topic.

Robert Trudeau will continue to write for local magazine Heliopolis as well as shooting and editing video of the nature at Coates Bluff trail.
