Baton Rouge Police Detail Injuries In Bar Fight
Baton Rouge police describe some of the details of the bar fight last week. One of the victims was knocked unconscious and another man suffered three fractured vertebrae.
The police chief says two other men suffered cuts and bruises. Four LSU football players allegedly involved in the fight were interviewed by police and gave detectives the names of at least a dozen witnesses. LSU football coach Les Miles has taken no disciplinary action against the players: senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson, freshman wide receiver Jarvis Landry, sophomore offensive tackle Chris Davenport, and sophomore linebacker Josh Johns.
Police expect the investigation to take a week to ten days.
