An Islamic State "kill list" with the names, addresses and pictures of American military members includes at least 25 past or present servicemen and women who served at Barksdale Air Force Base.

A New York Times story claimed that crew members from the 2nd Wing at Barksdale are included in the names on the list. The Air Force has confirmed that report.

In the online threat, ISIS has called on its members and sympathizers in the United States to kill 100 service members. The seemingly random names, photos and other information was posted on a website. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said that the information appears to have been taken from social media and that no military or government security has been compromised.

The Air Force Public Affairs Office says that the USAF Office of Special Investigations is working with federal and local authorities and that appropriate security steps are being taken.

The Department of Defense is urging all US military members to adjust their social media privacy settings to limit the amount of personal information available.
