What's It Like to Fly at 1,000 MPH?

The Barksdale AFB Defenders of Liberty Air Show weekend is traditionally one of the biggest in the Ark-La-Tex. This year, the return of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds is expected to make it one of the most successful ever.

But what's it like to ride in a jet fighter that's capable of speeds in the range of Mach 2.5 (around 1,850 mph)? Well, just a few years ago, our own Townsquare Media account executive Rick Keller took to the skies with the Navy's Blue Angels.

It's an amazing video, made even more impressive by Keller's absolute cool -- even giddiness -- while traveling at sound barrier-breaking speeds.
