Barksdale Air Show Draws Tens of Thousands of Visitors

The 2014 Barksdale Air Show was a huge success with Ark-La-Tex residents.

Tens of thousands of locals flowed onto the base beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday morning for the show's opening day. The crowd was still piling into Barksdale Air Force Base's west gate at 2:30 p.m.

A highlight of the show was the F-22, which wowed the crowd from start to finish.

The air show wrapped up just after 4 p.m. Day two of the Barksdale Air Show kicks off Sunday (April 27) at 11 a.m..
