It was another fabulous Sunday on the big Coleman Street parking lot in Bossier City.

51 drivers turned out today for the third Red River Region, SCCA, autocross event of 2014 and a good time was had by all.  Each driver got six runs on a challenging 50-second course -- three in the morning and three more in the afternoon after a 45-minute lunch break.

We unlocked the gate to start setting up the course and all of our equipment at 7 am and locked it back at 3:15 pm.  So there was still plenty of time for all 51 competitors to do whatever else they needed to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Our next event will be on Sunday, June 1st.  Registration and tech inspection begin at 8:00.  There will be a mandatory drivers' meeting at 9:30 and the first car should challenge the cones as close to 10:00 as possible.  We would love for you to come out and join us -- even if you don't want to drive.

If you feel up to it, grab a helmet and hop in.  Cinch your seat belt down good and tight and let's go for a ride in my Mighty Mini:  http://youtu.be/tiJMPBE1_V0
